Bookings that confirm themselves and stop leaving empty tables
Automatic confirmation, a reminder the day before, and a kitchen notice with the real headcount. No-shows fell because the customer confirms with one tap.

Context
- Bookings arrived by phone, by Instagram and through the website form, and were all written by hand in the same notebook.
- The kitchen didn't know the covers until the service opened.
The problem
- Reserved tables that never showed up, with no way to see it coming.
- Three intake channels and one notebook: what wasn't written down didn't exist.
What I did
- A single booking register that all three channels feed into.
- Immediate confirmation to the customer and a reminder the day before with a button to confirm or cancel.
- A mid-afternoon notice to the kitchen with the real headcount and any allergies noted.
- Cancellations free the table in the register without anyone touching anything.
Result
- Customers confirm or cancel themselves, so a gap is spotted hours in advance.
- The kitchen plans against a real number instead of an estimate.
